A quick question:

I want to make a RaspberryPi device connect to the home OVPN server when it
starts up and also to maintain the connection if there are interruptions such as
temporary network access down. When the network is back up it should reconnect.

Is it enough to put the OVPN file (renamed to extension conf) into the
/etc/openvpn/client dir?
I cannot test this here because I need to go to another place than my home
(where the OVPN server is) with Internet access...

I have created an OVPN file for the server that does not need a password to
connect. I have similar such files on devices which connect to home on demand
for subversion syncs. That works, but then it is handled by a person issuing the
commands (on and off) and the ovpn files are not located in the client dir...
