Thanks! Fortunately, TIL, that $company will upgrade the firewall RSN,
so I will get a new OpenVPN (and/or some IPSec stuff).
Maybe I just keep my old openvpn package 2.5.6
("echo openvpn hold | sudo dpkg --set-selections")
for now to keep the convenience of using NetworkManager.
And hope, that it's only for a very short time...
