In 2.4, it's --server-poll-timeout.
In 2.3, if you use a http proxy or socks proxy, other options might
be relevant, but for "normal connections" it's also just --server-poll-timeout
(This is something easily tried, btw... "set it to 10 seconds and see
if things happen after 10 seconds")
