So far I got it all working without the radvd. But I did read about it. Once I figure out about ULA addresses and if and when I should use them in this situation I'll work on putting it in place. Bits and pieces were missing that I didn't realize were missing until this thread discussion :-/. Now at least I understand enough for the manpages to be a good guide too.
