Well, this is how Open Source works. People are not paid to fix what is important to you, so they go and implement and fix what they think is important to them. I'm not using Windows a lot, and when I do, I use the GUI, so this bug isn't affecting me at all - and as my (free!) time is very limited, I focus on other issues, like "getting the networking bits right" and "ensure the unix versions all work properly". > Is there anybody aware of this has been fixed in the development version? No development has been done on the OpenVPN service in quite a while, as there is nobody around that understands Windows well enough to be *able* to do it, and interested enough to actually spend time to do it. Volunteers are quite welcome - we take patches, and are happy if people work on issues that need fixing. We're not leaving this unfixed on purpose, just to annoy you. gert -- USENET is *not* the non-clickable part of WWW! //www.muc.de/~gert/ Gert Doering - Munich, Germany g...@greenie.muc.de fax: +49-89-35655025 g...@net.informatik.tu-muenchen.de
