I think your question is about netbios names over openvpn instead of the other way around. > So, do I need add win server = 10.10.10.1 (ip of openvpn server)? also add > it does not run... is there a howto or handbook to help me to configure > openvpn over netbios? > > side by side openvpn (all clients) runs only with numeric ping. Netbios names can be learned via broadcasts only when everything is on a single subnet. In a routed network (vpn or not) you need a common WINS server configured to collate and forward the names. If your openvpn server is Linux, you would have to run samba/nmbd with wins service enbabled to use it as a wins server. Or, if you set up a DNS server with the names, current windows versions should use that in preference to netbios anyway. -- Les Mikesell lesmikes...@gmail.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Accelerate Dev Cycles with Automated Cross-Browser Testing - For FREE Instantly run your Selenium tests across 300+ browser/OS combos.
