Hello,I am testing an OpenVPN server running on a Scientific Linux 6.5 machine with windows, mac and Linux clients.
I can connect from linux without any problem using the command line (as root) or network manager (as user)
I can connect from Windows XP SP3 with command line and GUI no problems (running as administrator of the machine)
In windows 7 (32bit or 64bit, with or without firewall antivirus etc. etc.) I have a problem with the management interface:
After installing openvpn and copying the config files in config, I can right click on the .ovpn profile, select "Start OpenVPN on this config file" and in the dos prompt I can pass my credentials and the connection is successful.
When I run the GUI instead, the "MANAGEMENT" lines appear in the log and the process gets stuck at
... MANAGEMENT CMD """"If I thy changing the management port on the config file, this change is not respected and it always defaults to port 25340.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I have done some research and maybe I am looking for the wrong terms but I cannot find anything similar.
