Apologies in advance if this isn't the right list to post to about this (I'd be keen to know if there's somewhere more appropriate).
I'm currently developing a simple front end for use of OpenVPN as a client on Sailfish OS phones. I'd like to include OpenVPN in the name of the app (along with some other text like "OpenVPN-UI" or similar) and the OpenVPN logo in the app's icon design. The following page seems to imply that this is okay: https://openvpn.net/index.php/miscellaneous/473-openvpn-logos-and-icons.html However, I wanted to double check in case anyone knows otherwise. Is it okay to just use the name and design as part of another application or is there something I've missed or someone I should contact to request permission? If anyone has any advice about this I'd be grateful.
