So I have seen lots of posts on this and had my own fun on this ad I thought I would share my experiences fixing it. Which might lead to a solution to the problem latter down the road.
My setup has a master scanner and a slave scanner. Most of the time I get this error is when I over load one or the other scanners with too many jobs at once. If the job is going to the slave scanner generally restarting the slave scanner fixes the problem. If that does not fix the problem the other fix is to change the scanner to the master. Then I restart the job. If the job was going to the master again changing the job to the slave generally fixes it. However, if that does not work the final fix is to restart the master and the slave. Then I can restart the jobs. Some of the posts I saw said there may be an issue with the CERT but non of the fixes I listed above would work if there was a CERT issue. Since I am still running the SQLite DB I am guessing there is some timing issue with the DB causing the error. Restarting the app probably forces the DB to clean up and fix its own error. Just my 2 cents… Louis ::::: Louis Bohm - Sr. Systems Engineer Dell TechDirect Certified _______________________________________________ Openvas-discuss mailing list Openvas-discuss@wald.intevation.org https://lists.wald.intevation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss
