I have a scan job stuck in the "delete requested" status. I submitted the
job via the CLI (omp) while working on some automation, I never started the
job. I adjusted a setting in openvassd.conf for testing, did a
daemon-reload and restart of the scanner service and when it came back up I
deleted the job via the web. I've restarted the services several times and
it's still stuck in the "delete requested" status. I've submitted other
scans and they're working.

Is there any way to "force" the removal?
