those are the two options you currently have to work around this which is already fixed in the latest available versions of scanner and libraries available at http://www.openvas.org/install-source.html Working around this issue on NVT side doesn't make a sense anymore as the behavior might be triggered by any NVT (not only the mentioned) depending on e.g. the available services on a target or the dependency chain of specific NVTs.
