Since antiX is a Debian derivative, then it should be using all the packages from Debian (which I happen to maintain). In Debian (and Ubuntu, since they use the tooling I wrote) all services come with both systemd units and sysv-rc init scripts. etcd isn't available in stretch, and I've checked, it's not available in antiX either. So you may want to backport it from Debian Testing (ie: fetch the source package and simply rebuild it for your distro). Otherwise, you could just get the init.d script from the Sid/Buster package.
