Hi ALL I am running Openstack Liberty with L2 provider network in test env with ceph rbd.
VMs are booted from volume (create volume from image during creation) and using metadata service and cloud init to inject password/ sshkey, initial command and so on. I cloud reset password by deleting the vm (keep the root volume) then re-create using the same IP. I am wondering that is it possible to use cloud init / metadata service to reset password? Not sure if it is doable:
