Cells v2 is in active development. If you can wait a bit longer and upgrade/reinstall with Mitaka and v2 you will be in a better place. Hopefully a nova core will weigh in to tell me I'm on or off track with that comment. Kris Lindgren also keeps a pretty good eye on this and I've cc'd him.
