Cynthia, Attaching a "regular KVM Virtual Machine" directly to the bridge, also did not worked.
I'll try to create this eth3.XXXX, a LinuxBridge "brqxxxxzzzz-yy" on top of it and a new KVM VM, completely outside of OpenStack but, on top of this very same server. Thanks again for the tip!
