Can you try creating a trove instance without specifying the --nic argument
for the 'trove create' command? If it doesnt work still, then we can rule out
the possibility that there is something wrong with the way we are passing that
argument.
trove create data_trove 2 --size 2 --databases trove --users trove:trove
--datastore mysql --datastore_version mysql-5.5
