Hi I see that Fuel supports 12.04 Icehouse which gets installed on the controller and compute hosts. But issue is some of the components like openvswitch seem to have older versions 1.10 for instance whereas OVS version now is 2.0 in other Icehouse installs. OVS is one thing that comes to mind but there maybe other such components where the version is different between 14.04 and 12.04

Adding support for Ubuntu 14.04.x as a HostOS is currently under evaluation / development and is currently expected to be folded into the Fuel Project sometime near the Juno summit. Even with the current version 5.x of Fuel, one can run Ubuntu 14.04 as a GuestOS – it’s just the HostOS that is under evaluation / development for the future release. Is there a particular capability / feature of Ubuntu 14.04 that you’re finding critical when acting as the HostOS that Ubuntu 12.04.04 is not providing? Thanks, - David J.
