Hi Rajshree,

You can install the quantum plugins for l3 and dhcp or agent. How many NIC's
have you used for networking?

Are you using the flatdhcp or floatingip (nova components)?

Raghavendra Lad

Subject: [Openstack] Instances running on VMware ESXi are unable to configure IP

Hi All,

I have configured Openstack Grizzly to use ESXi 5.1 as hypervisor.
Creating/deleting instances from Openstack works as expected, instances are
created in ESXi ( Verified via vSphere
Client) and started ok. The trouble is that VMs are unable to configure
internal IP. Does quantum have a way to reach vmware api to configure network.
Does quantum plugin for vmware/esx exist?

What could be possible solution for this? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Rajshree
