Hi all, nova version: 2012.1.3-dev os: ubuntu server 12.04 LTS I got the critical error from nova-api.log, After I create snapshot with 'Chinese Name' by horizon. Here is the error info: UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode characters in position 0-4: ordinal not in range(128) I also find the bug at launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1008976 I know the the 'Chinese Name' is the reason.
But How can I restore the instance from making snapshot? Here is a periodic task: Generated ACTIVE from vm_state=active task_state=image_snapshot.. I cannot do nothing.. Any body help me..
