Hi, all, I am following the official guide for installation and deploying openstack folsom on fedora: http://docs.openstack.org/folsom/openstack-compute/install/yum/content/, can someone please clarify my mind?
1, The controller has one NIC with ip 192.168.206.130, this is within the management network. Is that right? 2, The compute node has two NICs, one is within the same subnet as above, like 192.168.206.129 for management; and the other is set in promiscuous mode for public network (floating ip network). 3, In the guide, the section "Pre-configuration the network" is for compute node, and start from the section "Configuring Openstack Compute", all installation should be done on compute node. 4, Should we install openstack-nova on both controller and compute node? Given the "Compute and Image System Requirements" specification, where should we install openstack-network? Thank you, Rain
