Hi David, Support for GRE tunneling is not part of the main-line kernel yet. Ubuntu support it by using the OVS kernel module that can be built from OVS source. Red Hat based platforms do not support this to my knowledge, though you could always download the OVS source and build it yourself, as Centos is a target platform for OVS.
