My glance-api-paste.ini already had the credentials when I posted the problem. Also, my python-glance package is Essex, just like the other openstack packages. After giving *glance -d index* as input, I noticed something that's pretty much obvious: The error comes from the response to the attempt at authenticating the user. I'm gonna double-check the credentials in the config files, then gonna report here.
