Hello, Maybe what I'm saying doesn't help you fix your specific problem but why don't you try devstack (http://devstack.org/) for installing?
It's designed for developers but software installation is easy and works. If your purpose is test driving OpenStack, I would recommend that. Hope it helps. Bye, MCo.
