We certainly should. We need to be much more careful than we've been in the past about defining these interfaces and be mindful when we change them. If we don't, upgrading a Nova deployment is going to be very painful. We should go through these API's, review them, document them and write tests (of they don't exist already) that validate that the documentation is accurate.
