Hello Team, I was setting up Icehouse installation on my centos 6.5 ( 64bit)
Everything was fine up to image service installation, it was successfull, but the moment i start process to install Nova service on controller node : i have done following successfully 1. yum install openstack-nova-api openstack-nova-cert openstack-nova-conductor \ openstack-nova-console openstack-nova-novncproxy openstack-nova-scheduler \ python-novaclient 2. openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf \ database connection mysql://nova:*password*@*controller.example.com <http://controller.example.com>*/nova 3. openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf \ DEFAULT rpc_backend qpid 4. # openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf DEFAULT qpid_hostname *controller.example.com <http://controller.example.com>*openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf DEFAULT my_ip 10.0.0.1 # openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf DEFAULT vncserver_listen 10.0.0.11 # openstack-config --set /etc/nova/nova.conf DEFAULT vncserver_proxyclient_address 10.0.0.11 5. $ mysql -u root -p mysql> CREATE DATABASE nova; mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON nova.* TO 'nova'@'localhost' \ IDENTIFIED BY ' *password*'; mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON nova.* TO 'nova'@'%' \ IDENTIFIED BY '*password*'; 6.) # su -s /bin/sh -c "nova-manage db sync" nova The moment i pass this command i am getting following error : [root@controller images]# su -s /bin/sh -c "nova-manage db sync" nova shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory *Any one have idea, what i am missing ?* -- Thanks & regards, Anwar M.
