InfraCloud Project, Weekly Status Update - April 4th 2016 Updates:
1. Relocation of HW a. HW is now completely reracked at new site with the completion of US West hardware today. 2. Networking a. Networking work order was closed today. We're expecting all-clear e-mail from HPE networking team early this week. b. /19 is being allocated for ipv4 and /56 (instead of /48) is being allocated for ipv6. c. Network diagram that can be shared publicly is still pending from HPE networking team. 3. Next Steps a. Team members with access will soon be ready to do validation and check for HW problems before beginning bootstrap of baremetal hosts. b. Once bootstrap is complete, all infra core team will be able to access control plane and (re)-deployment mechanism which will allow us to resume full effort. c. To help bootstrap resume, Cody will prepare summary of both agreed plans and outstanding decisions/questions from infracloud mid-cycle notes for team's review via mailing list. d. Session on infracloud has been proposed for Austin summit. Risks: 1. Health of HW post-relocation needs to be verified. No reported incidents during transit or unusual risks beyond those inherent to relocation and age of equipment (and rotational disks). 2. New network configuration requires validation. Changes Merged: No additional changes merged under infra-cloud topic since last weekly report. -- Cody A.W. Somerville
