This may not fix your ssh problem but it is worth noting that there is a
patch that will enable configuration of fetch url to http git mirrors
instead of gerrit directly which uses ssh.
Hopefully it could land soon. (The first patchset dates back to early
last year, when mayu from network division of Huawei had exactly your
problem.)
