Hello folks, Michal (inc0) is the PTL of Kolla. He has asked me to send this message since it was my agreement with the community in the Austin Design Summit when I served as Kolla PTL that people that participate in the implementation of the kolla-kubernetes deliverable at the start of the deliverable would be granted automatic core reviewer permissions as we were bootstrapping a new deliverable from an empty repository. Part of that agreement was that people that were not active in the development, including reviewing, would be pruned from the list at a later date.
That later date has come. The folks being removed from kolla-kubernetes-core are: Greg Herlein Liyi Meng Davanum Srinivas On a more positive note, the purpose of this change is to enable the resulting core reviewer team to achieve majority votes for core reviewer nominations. There are several candidates queued up and Michal will be nominating these individuals when the core reviewer team feels the time is right. Michal has said he will make these changes in gerrit effective immediately. Cheers, -steve
