Today, Ceilometer is in charge of the polling + notification listening, and feeds that into the system you want, in our case, Gnocchi. It seems you have only one project for all of that, where we have built 2 projects that can be reused in different context, but coupled do the same thing (and probably more) than what Almanach does. I swiftly encourage you to take a look at what Ceilometer+Gnocchi can do, as it may be a good surprise for you.
