Between some late breaking complications in the gate (on stable branches, now understood and fixes are on the way to being merged) and a desire to have more jobs running in our CI, there are some feature patches that have not landed in N-3.
This email is to document that list of feature freeze exceptions which are all changes that are actively under testing and review, and which will be delivered in Newton. In some cases, client side changes have already been delivered in the python-troveclient which froze some days ago. All of these have been discussed at the Trove meeting that was held yesterday, notes at [1]. - Trove instance upgrade [client changes have merged] - Trove quota management API support - Locality support, affinity and anti-affinity [server and dashboard] - PostgreSQL streaming replication [server and augmented testing] - Scheduled backups [client changes have merged, server change is a mistral workbook] - Configuration management and full online backup for DB2 - Add NIC option to cluster grow command - Add AZ to instance launch - Dashboard support for configuration group and datastore flavor mappings In all, this represents 14 reviews between the trove and trove-dashboard projects, and we expect to have them all merged by mid-week, next week.
