Hello Fuelers, Currently we install fuel-library package on the master node and then copy Puppet modules to environment nodes using rsync. The main disadvantage here is the additional logic required to establish matching between different releases and corresponding Puppet stuff.
The solution we propose is to use packaged versions of Puppet scripts on environment nodes. With this patch [0] we made the very first step towards debianization of fuel-library. Further plans include [1]: * separate packaging of each upstream Puppet module * replace rsync'ing of Puppet modules and manifests with fuel-library package installation Kindly ask you to review the patch [0] [0] https://review.openstack.org/#/c/294653/ [1] https://review.openstack.org/#/c/293530/ -- Regards, Vitaly Parakhin.
