Timofey has posted a patch which aims to improve shared storage negotiation a little:
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/286745/ I've been thinking for some time about going bigger. It occurs to me that the destination node has enough context to know what should be present. I think it would be cleaner for the destination to check what it has, and send the delta back to the source in migration_data. I think that would remove the need for shared storage negotiation entirely. Of course, we'd need to be careful about cleaning up after ourselves, but that's already true. Thoughts?
