Hi Khayam, Could you check the version of your flake8? It's located in .tox/pep8/bin.
D102 is one of the pep8 error, and I find it's not ignored in Tricircle tox.ini, so I guess that flake8 on Jenkins doesn't enable this error by default but in your flake8, this error is enabled. I check the log of one successful Jenkins job on Tricircle and list the version of flake8 and related packages Jenkins uses below: flake8==2.2.4 hacking==0.10.2 pyflakes==0.8.1 mccabe==0.2.1 BR Zhiyuan On 3 February 2016 at 14:53, Zhipeng Huang <zhipengh...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Khayam, > > We try to get every communication on the mailing list for transparency :) > So I copied your email here. > > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Zhiyan pls check to see what happened. > > Sent from HUAWEI AnyOffice > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Hi Chaoyi, > > When I run local *pep8 *test using* tox -e pep8*, It always shows error > regarding > > *./tricircle/tests/unit/network/test_plugin.py:268:1: D102 Missing > docstring in public method* > > but on Jenkins no such errors are shown.
