The Mitaka 1 milestone tagging is almost complete. Check http://docs.openstack.org/releases/releases/mitaka.html for a list of the projects with tags. Congratulations to all of the project teams for completing the milestone!
Matt Treinish and Brant Knudson identified an issue with reno's treatment of merge commits (https://bugs.launchpad.net/reno/+bug/1522153). If your release notes don't appear after they are merged that may be why. We'll be working on a fix as soon as we can. I want to thank all of the release liaisons and PTLs who participated in the rush this week to submit all of the needed patches to set up reno and prepare for tagging. It went very smoothly, overall, and what few hiccups we did have were resolved quickly. Good work, everyone! Focus ----- With the Mitaka 1 milestone behind us, teams should have retrospectives to consider how the cycle is going so far and where things stand as we enter the major feature development period leading up to the second milestone. Release Actions --------------- All projects managed by the release team should now have reno integrated, and release notes publishing. If the integration work was completed without writing any actual release notes, it's not too late to go back and add notes for work already completed. If http://docs.openstack.org/releases/releases/liberty.html does not include a link to the release notes for your Liberty releases, please submit a patch to your deliverable file in openstack/releases adding a link. We will add links for the Mitaka release later, when we start publishing release notes under that series name, so please only update the Liberty file for now. During the milestone tagging process, a patch was added to each project to remove the version field from the setup.cfg file. It's important to merge those patches as quickly as possible so please put them on your review priority lists.
