Who are interested in? We can say that for the next mid-cycle is not feasible, I think the best option at the moment is discuss this proposal at the next summit. I like the idea to have it in different location not sure if having it before the release is a good thing, the core-reviewer efforts are all focused on getting the release ready which means on high priority bugs, not necessarily the bugs which are tackled during the hackathon.
