Hi, I'm working on getting our cinder volume driver in shape for submission for the Liberty release. To that end, I have some questions about the OpenStack development process.
The associated blueprint is here: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/cinder/+spec/blockbridge-eps-driver Our volume driver is in good shape, and has been used in-house for the better part of a year. I'm currently writing unit tests in preparation for submission. I've signed the Individual CLA, and set up Gerrit/git-review. The driver passes all of the style requirements imposed by hacking, except for complaining about multiple imports from the oslo.i18n package. A couple questions: 1) When is it appropriate to submit the driver for review? Is 3rd-party CI a prerequisite? 2) How do we get the blueprint assigned to target a specific release?
