There was no suggestion of amatuerish-ness, or even volunteerism, in my post. Simply a recognition of the reality that we are not operating in a traditional command & control environment. TBH I'm surprised such an assertion would be considered controversial. But I'd be happy to hear how you envisage rate-limiting WIP would play out in practice?
