Greetings OpenStack community, Today's meeting was brief, covering only 1 major topic.
The main topic for the SIG today was the migration of bug tracking from Launchpad to StoryBoard[7]. No firm plans were made to migrate yet, but the group agreed that this migration would be positive from a community alignment perspective and that the number of bugs in conjunction with a low rate of bug addition would make the migration less risky. There was no opposition to the migration, but it was noted that the shift from Launchpad to StoryBoard does represent a paradigm shift and that there is not a 1:1 equivalency between the two. Expect the SIG to continue researching the migration and put forth a plan to shift at some point in the future. Although not a full discussion topic, Chris Dent reinforced the SIG's commitment to attending the forthcoming writeup about micrversion bump plans by mordred. There being no recent changes to pending guidelines nor to bugs, we ended the meeting early. As always if you're interested in helping out, in addition to coming to the meetings, there's also: * The list of bugs [5] indicates several missing or incomplete guidelines. * The existing guidelines [2] always need refreshing to account for changes over time. If you find something that's not quite right, submit a patch [6] to fix it. * Have you done something for which you think guidance would have made things easier but couldn't find any? Submit a patch and help others [6]. # Newly Published Guidelines None # API Guidelines Proposed for Freeze Guidelines that are ready for wider review by the whole community. In your email, you should include any relevant reviews, links, and comments to help guide the discussion of the specific challenge you are facing. To learn more about the API SIG mission and the work we do, see our wiki page [4] and guidelines [2].
