Hi, One more clarification on this (GAP-05 of [1]): In this gap we are considering the notifications on capafity management of the infrastrucuture. For example a notification woudl be received when a new physical host is added or a host is removed.

Panko only handles storage of events (more metadata focused data) while Ceilometer handles the actual generation of both events and metrics, the latter being the one you want it seems.
