Hi,

I have an HTTP server named thttpd, on ARM platform. I use stunnel to redirect
http requests to https, with openSSL secure certification.
I have created two seperate certificates for my server and client (he re client
is a web browser).
Now my question is, when I create .crt certificate signed by CA, via openSSL,
it asks me for Common Name.
What I understand by this field is if I set common name as www.example.com,
than when my https services are enabled on my server, I should be able to
connect to my server by typing
www.example.com as a URL, in web browser's tab (here, this web browser becomes
client) .
But this doesn't happen in my case. If I type common name (Given as a
parameter, while creating certificate) in web browser, it shows me an error of
" Can't Display This Page ".
Can you help me on what should be this common name field, while creating
certificates for both server and client?

Regards,
