Hi-
I use OpenSSL with nPOPuk, an open-source mail client. I had been using the
0.9.8 releases, through 0.9.8w; I compiled static libs and linked them in.
This worked fine, and I could connect with SSL to Gmail and Hotmail POP3
servers.

I decided it was time to try the "latest version" and downloaded and
compiled 1.0.1c for Windows CE (ARM) with Visual Studio 6 (and the WinCE
2.11 SDK). I had to make a few tweaks here and there, mostly because of my
old compiler, I think. I did get the libraries compiled and linked into my
application.

Now, however, when I run the application, I get an error
  Verify of SSL failed
  certificate signature failure (7)

I wonder if anyone can give me a hint on where to start looking for my
problem. I scanned through the CHANGES file but nothing jumped out at me.

I'll also note that I compiled 1.0.1c with VC++ 2005, linked with nPOPuk,
and ran on Windows XP, and this worked fine.

Maybe I should just go back to 0.9.8x, since there were some posts
indicating that 0.9.8 will still be supported for some time.

Thanks.
