Does OpenSSL make specific use of either of these CPU features? And what functions or algorithms of OpenSSL would benefit?
My use case is primarily AES as commonly used with disk encryption but not limited to that. Unrelated to OpenSSL would be whether the kernel crypto(4|9) frameworks of things like Free or Open BSD make use of those features.
