A key generated inside FIPS mode should work straight away outside FIPS mode. It's the other way round that isn't directly possible. I mentioned the pkcs8 command can be used to convert keys earlier in this thread. Technically though that's a violation of the security policy. Steve. -- Dr Stephen N. Henson.
