hi people,

hope to find help here. We wanna do a openssl installation in our network.
we want to have our own ssl certificates to encrypt our application layer
services(http, ftp, smtp,...)

we want to buy a wildcard certificate from digicert.com, which we can use as
a "root certificate" to create our
certificate. The certification path should go up to digicert.

is it possible to have digicert as a kind of rootCA and we are the
subordinateCA.

Is it clear what i mean? maybe i misunderstood something but i hope for
correction from you

with kind regard
