Hi Hans,
I was using 0.9.8c but I was having problems. I looked at the current snapshot versions and found a lot had been changed so I opted to going to 0.9.9 current in development version. I also made a patch/change to verification of tokens to set the current time for verification in the certificate store to the time the token was signed as I was having an issue verifying tokens where the certificate was currently expired (but was not expired at time of signing). I use curl to make requests which is very simple to use. Dear all, I would like to use "ts" and "tsget" to test a TSA (time stamping authority) prototype. I looked at the download list of <file:///\\www.opentsa.org> www.opentsa.org and was a little confused. The latest openssl version supported is 0.9.8c, which is pretty outdated. I read that "ts" and "tsget" will be integrated in Openssl version 0.9.9. The feature is already documented ( <file:///\\www.openssl.org\docs\apps\tsget.html> www.openssl.org/docs/apps/tsget.html, <file:///\\www.openssl.org\docs\apps\ts.html> www.openssl.org/docs/apps/ts.html). But sofar the most recent openssl-version, 0.9.8j, does not support ts and tsget. Does anybody have any recommendation on which version to use to get TSA-support in openssl? What platform to recommend? Best regards & thanks a lot in advance Hans PS: I have installed the 0.9.8c-Version on Ubuntu 8.10. But I got the following error message: u...@ubuntu810desktop:~/hwkramer$ /usr/local/ssl/bin/openssl ts -query -data test.txt -out test.tsq Illegal instruction No virus found in this incoming message.
