Hi,
I am researching the use of Deep Packet Inspection on encrypted
protocols. More specifically TLS and DTLS operating in both anonymous
mode and with peer verification via PKI. So far I haven't found much
related to these two technologies and how DPI can be used on a TLS/
DTLS encrypted session. The basis of my research is to understand what
CAN and CANNOT be done with DPI and TLS vs weaker or unencrypted
sessions and the tradeoffs. My focus is for the benefits of using TLS/
DTLS to overcome the limits of DPI.
I'd appreciate any feedback.
