To all: I am fairly new at participating in a mailing list so I apologize if I'm doing anything out of place. I don't have that much knowledge in openSSL, either. But what I was hoping to have answered is:
OpenSSL produces S-MIME version 2 and BouncyCastle results in S-MIME version 3, which will result in compatibility issues. I was wondering, if anyone knows of a work around to this problem or if BouncyCastle can convert to version 2. BouncyCastle says they can produce version 2 however to no avail was I able to produce a version 2. Like I said, I am fairly new at this and so if this is too concise or it's unclear, I apologize but I would really appreciate any feedbacks.
