Hi Rowland,

so far, CMP is not supported in official releases of OpenSSL at all.

As you're interested in that field, please have a look if my ongoing
attempt to implement the client side of CMP for OpenSSL can help you
in any way. Directions how to obtain the full source via SVN are
available on the project website <http://www.izac.de/cmp/>. As I have
prepared the ASN.1 definitions in the OpenSSL way, half the work for
implementing functions to create/evaluate the messages would be
already done.

So far I got compatibility to Cryptlib for the most important message
sequences (IR and KUR) while there will other CAs will be supported in
the near future. Check the website regularly for updates, I'll also
implement more sequences if the respective CA supports them in a sane
way.

Please send me a mail to "openssl at izac dot de" if you need any help
or more input on this.

Best regards,
Martin
