Hello,

I am using OpenSSL in my application and generally I download OpenSSL
versions when they are announced on www.openssl.org
<http://www.openssl.org/> (I have called this Standard release tough I
am not sure if this is the right term) and embed the new version into my
software. How ever I also know that the most recent version is compiled
daily (creating a version referenced as last STABLE version) and it
contains fixes.

I would like to understand what the recommended version to use is, the
one I referred to as Standard or the STABLE version? Do both versions go
through the same QA process? Which version is more commonly used (I
would guess that the standard one)? Which one is considered more stable?

Any information on this issue would be great.

Thanks,

Hagai.
