Hi all,

I have been trawling Google in an attempt to find information on how to
create a certificate which DOES NOT contain a signature.

I realise this is a out of the ordinary question, but I require this in
order to test the behaviour of a client application I am developing.

In any case, is this even possible? Can it be done using openssl? If
so, could you give me a pointer in the right direction?

Thanks in advance,

Johan
A strange request, indeed. A certificate without a signature is no certificate. End of the story. Maybe it is a certificate request, but this cannot be used for the things a certificate usually is needed.

Maybe you could be a bit more specific about what you want to do?

Hope it helps.
